Internship placement done!
From the 22nd of November & seven month forward I will be joining the mighty nice people at ustwo in Shoreditch, London as a Junior Designer. I’ve followed their work for quite a while & I’m sincerly happy to get this opportunity & cant wait to get started!
“ustwo™ is a multi-platform digital user interface design studio that develops pioneering user experiences and apps for some of the world’s leading brands.”
I’m back in Sweden after 2 months working at Gamesys, an online gaming company in central London. It’s been an amazing experience being so fortunate to meet & work with truly talented designers while still being in school. We were 5 people from our class who headed over to London to work at the company, read about it here. In the past two months I’ve learnt tons of new stuff about UI & UX design & developed my skills. Since the project is not live yet I cant unfortunate not post it here. The last day we held a presentation for the different design teames about what we had accomplished during our stay.
Big thanks to all the nice people I met over at Gamesys & see you very soon!

For our final project at Hyper Island I’ve hooked up with the mighty talented illustrator Sofie Hallor. We’ve set out to create a short 2D animation full of character and life. We joined forces because of our common love to character design & illustration. Over at out process blog that you can check out here we post in progress pics. The deadline & presentation for our project is the 17th of November & I will of course publish the final movie here. In the meantime check out our blog

We’ve just started the Final Project at Hyper Island. A few days ago we confirmed the proposal from our client and for the best result and co operation we agreed to move to London for 2 months to work at their office. Our group is of course super happy about this opportunity and we look forward to start working on our brief.

Computer Arts latest Project issue focusing on character design asked through Twitter “What’s your tried and trusted method for giving your characters real personality?”
And as usual the 8 best tweets make it in the mag.

I’ve had a dream for several years… to have my own arcade machine that could emulate all those classic games like space invaders, pacman, bomberman, metal slug e. g. This summer me and my friend started this little project and little by little I could see my dream come true. Here’s a few “in the making” pictures and I will of course upload some more pictures when it’s completely done. enjoy!
